A Connecticut grower, Russ DeGrazia took his giant to the weighoff at Topsfield Fair where it was officially juged to be a giant squash. Once it was weighed Russ had himself a new Connecticut State Giant Squash Record at 895.2 pounds. Our congratulations to Russ for raising the giant squash bar in Connecticut.
